ECOGIG outreach staff took "Science at the Stadium" on the road once again to Florida State University on October 15th, prior to FSU's 2016 Homecoming game vs Wake Forest. Visitors to the Ocean Discovery Zone got to explore the deepwater ecosystems of the Gulf of Mexico and learned about the importance of healthy oceans. They will met Florida State University marine scientists (including ECOGIG priciple investigators Dr. Jeff Chanton and Dr. Ian MacDonald) and discovered the tools they use to conduct deep sea research in the Gulf.
