Dr. Laura Lapham

Dr. Lapham has expertise in measuring temporal and spatial variability of methane and other hydrocarbon concentrations and stable isotopes from Gulf and Pacific Ocean gas hydrate environments. Significant accomplishments include designing/deploying seafloor instruments that collect water and pore-water samples over time at MC118, 15 km northwest of the Macondo oil spill.
